The Success Day Program is a unique high school program, which operates on the *quarter plan and, therefore, allows students to earn credits at an accelerated rate. Success Day Program offers the same core courses as Language Center programs provides, in addition, all upper-level content courses needed for graduation. 

 

Characteristics of Students in Success Day Program (SDP) are immigrant students who are older (17-21) for their grade level than are most  high school students, who opt to attend and are better served at the Success Day Program because of its special sensitivity to the needs of older students and its accelerated credit program. Most students enter the Day Program after completing one year at International Newcomer Academy (INA), though a few students enter the Day Program directly after assessment at the Student Placement Center. All students must meet age and other eligibility criteria and be approved to enroll in the Day Program by the principal.
